“Halal Carts” is a documentary short film that paints a portrait of cooking Halal meals on a mobile food cart run in the midst of one of the most popular and iconic places in the world, Times Square, New York City. Juxtaposed with these scenes, will be the exploration of the Zabiha process, where viewers are truly meant to understand from beginning to end, of what makes meat “Halal.” This film will sew a cinematic picture of “Halal” and “Carts” as viewers watch and listen to these day and night worlds come together on-screen.
